This is a collection of American high heel shoe photographs from circa 1940. The Kindle book includes an introduction, 71 full page photographs, and an index of photos with size and other information.
Charles Guyette had a business in New York City selling theatrical costumes. For a time he sold photographs showing models in high heel shoes which served as a catalog for the footwear he was offering. He also sold other types of photographs which aren’t shown in the ebook: boots, corsets, other types of fetish clothing, and bondage (advertisement is from August 10, 1935 issue of London Life).

Guyette was active before 1935 but the majority of photographs in the ebook appear to date in the years just before and after 1940. Today these photographs are hard-to-find collector's items.
This book would be useful to those interested in fashion, historic costume, and American fetish clothing. The book collects and presents photographs that are not easily found elsewhere.
